News From the Classes

We have all enjoyed World Book Day, see the report in the Children's Zone.

3A loved decorating our door and designed the cover for George’s Marvellous medicine! They were very proud of Kitty and India who both got through to the final of the monologue competition and our very own India won!

In 4M we made a Horrid Henry book cover for the door.

5NY’s CLASS NEWS 12/2/10
In 5NY we have been doing lots of fun activities. In literacy we have been learning about poems such as we are going on a bear hunt and I am walking with my iguana. For we are going on a bear hunt we had to come up with actions and face expressions  then perform it in front of the class. In P.E we have been dancing to rainforest music and singing along to the backing track. We have also made butter with Mrs Young and got to eat them with scones Yummy! In topic we have been learning about fair-trade foot balls and how we could sell them. Then we did something called banana split where we had too guess how much the workers, shippers, plantation owners got paid per banana. In R.E we had too draw and write the parable of the seeds that fell on the types of soils. In art we have been doing ink pressing. This has been great fun and has worked out really well. In games we have been doing lots of rugby skills such as drop kicks and passes we have also done some competitive games. We hope you had a great week like us!
