Part of our living ivy wall is here!!
We hope everyone has had a lovely summer and are well rested ready for the new school year.
Some of you will notice our leafy new green screen which has been installed on the Winchester Road fence. This is just the first section of living ivy wall which we are planning to extend along the Chertsey Road. The purpose of the screen is to improve the air quality for your children and has only been possible thanks to generous donations from our parents and local businesses, funding from the GLA, the local authority and Sky television, amongst others. We hope you will agree that it looks beautiful.
We have a whole host of exciting trips and events lined up for the Autumn Term including the Year 6 residential to Hooke Court, Anne Frank workshops, a trip to the British Museum, Buckingham palace workshops and a visit to the Imperial War Museum. In addition, we have our Curriculum evenings scheduled over the next couple of weeks, cycling proficiency, Harvest Festival and parent teacher consultations.
All dates and timings can be found on the Summary of Dates, but please do keep your eyes peeled for emails from the school with further information about these various events.
