Thank you...from the bottom of our hearts...
A huge thank you to those who have already donated towards our Defibrillator fundraiser. We're nearly there - there is just a further £225 to find.
The Automated External Defibrillator (AED) will be accessible to the school community and can be used on both adults and children. Cardiac arrest can affect people of any age and without warning. If this happens, swift action in the form of early cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and prompt defibrillation can help save a person’s life.
We've already raised £975.00, thanks to the generosity of our school community.
A special thanks goes to The Quantrill's who have made a substantial donation towards our total.
We are just £225.00 short of our target of £1,200.00.

In 2013, emergency medical services attempted to resuscitate approximately 28,000 cases of out-of-hospital cardiac arrest in England. Overall survival rates vary across the country, but range between 2% and 12%. However, survival rates as high as 75% have been reported where CPR and defibrillation are delivered promptly.
Early intervention by bystanders, even those with little or no first aid training, can therefore buy time until professional help arrives, improving the chance of a successful outcome.
