Changes to relationships and sex education (RSE) - parent consultation
The Department for Education has announced changes to relationships and sex education (RSE). These will come into effect from September 2020 and we will be required to comply with the updated requirements.
We were very grateful to see so many of you join us at the Drop In session on Wednesday morning. We were able to share this new guidance with you and highlight how we are incorporating it into the curriculum.
As outlined, we have reviewed our RSE curriculum and have updated our policy so we can be sure our RSE provision is appropriate for our pupils.
If you missed the drop in session, you can find a copy of the presentation here.
Alternatively, if you have any worries or questions, you are welcome to contact the school via firstname.lastname@example.org and we can pass them on to the PSHE coordinator, Lisa Novell.
