St. Stephen's 'Anti-bullying Ambassadors
In 2011, The Diana Award Anti-Bullying Campaign launched the Anti-Bullying Ambassadors Programme. The programme aims to empower students and staff, engaging them to change the attitudes, behaviours, and culture of bullying, by building skills and confidence to address different situations, both online and offline.
To date, they have trained over 22,000 young people to become Anti-Bullying Ambassadors in over 2,500 schools across the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Greece, United Arab Emirates, and the Channel Islands.
We recognise that young people are the best agents to make changes in their schools and local communities, here at St. Stephen's, representatives of the campaign have trained our Year 6s and we have gone on to appoint our own Ambassadors.
