Building Each Other Up in Love and Learning

Parent Helpers...

As you know, we are committed to keeping our children safe. Therefore, if you are planning on helping in school or accompanying school trips, we would be grateful if you can complete a couple of important steps.

Firstly, it's is essential that you complete the Online Safeguarding Training. You may have to create an account but it's free and easy and it means that you will be thoroughly briefed on all aspects of child protection. Please click here to complete the training.

If you are happy to complete this, please can you ensure that you click through to the very final slide of the course and click on the button that exits the course, or the system does not recognise your score.

In addition, we ask all parent helpers to provide us with documents that will allow us to complete a DBS check.

Providing you are happy for this check to be done, please bring at least 3 of the following documents to the school office:

  • Valid driving licence
  • Valid passport
  • Utility Bill (within last 3 months)
  • Council tax statement (within last 12 months)
  • Bank statement (within last 3 months)
  • Mortgage statement
  • Marriage certificate
  • Birth certificate

Your documents will be kept entirely confidential and will be returned to you immediately.

We are grateful for any parents, carers and relatives who volunteer their time and energy to helping us in school and we never want to turn any willing volunteers away - however the safety of the children is paramount and so we hope you understand the requirement for these security measures.
