LET THEM EAT CAKE - ST STEPHEN'S BAKE OFF RAISES £945

It was all about having a bit of fun, involving imagination, icing and a spoonful or two of baking powder. However, once the self-raising flour had settled and FOSS checked the coffers, this delightful event brought in an astounding £945.

This is thrilling for school, as it enables us to buy so very many extras that enrich each and every lesson. Thank you for your continued support.

We bring you a roll call of FOSS' fantastic St Stephen's Bake Off. The cakes were of an exceptionally high standard and judging was oh so very difficult. One of the judges, Manno of 'Manno and Rita's' in Twickenham was so bowled over by the professional standard of the cakes, she only went and bought some to sell in her own bakery! Other judges included, Lauren Randell from St Stephen's Church, Gris Soames of 'Enchanted Bakes', Mrs Easton, Rachel of 'Mrs P's Cakes and Pops', Zoran of Zoran's Delicatessen and Nicola the Head Chef. All experts in their field, so if they thought our Bake Off was good, you know it was! 

The winners each won a wooden spoon to aid their cooking efforts at home and a dollop of St Stephen's glory. Well done to everyone who took part. You were absolutely caketastic! Thanks again to FOSS for organising this splendid event and our parents, carers and children for supporting it.
