Sporting Highlights of the Year – St Stephen’s 

What an extraordinary year of sport it’s been at St Stephen’s! Our pupils have shown incredible dedication, skill, and teamwork across a huge range of events – bringing home trophies, medals, and unforgettable memories.

Here are just some of our standout sporting achievements from the year:

  • Netball – Champions at the local Netball Tournament, showing outstanding teamwork and strategy.

  • Swimming Gala – 1st Place overall – an amazing effort from our whole swim squad.

  • Tag Rugby – League winners and an impressive 3rd place in the borough tournament.

  • Moormead Cricket – Girls’ team crowned winners, and boys placed 2nd – brilliant batting and bowling all round.

  • Cross Country – A fantastic 2nd place overall, narrowly behind Hampton Prep.

  • Football Highlights:

  • Girls’ Football League Winners

  • Boys’ Football League Champions

  • Winners of the Pokémon Cup, Hampton Tournament & Borough Cup

  • Qualified for the National Finals at Wolves' Molineux Stadium – a phenomenal achievement!

  • Dodgeball – Local winners, regional champions, and an incredible 2nd place at Nationals!

  • Basketball – Reached the Finals, finishing a strong 5th place after advancing from local rounds.

  • Special Events – Pupils proudly represented the school at exhibition matches held at Harlequins and Twickenham Stadium, enjoying once-in-a-lifetime experiences .

We are beyond proud of every pupil who represented St Stephen’s this year. Whether bringing home trophies or simply giving their all on the pitch, court or field – your effort, enthusiasm and sportsmanship have been exceptional.

A heartfelt thank you to all Mr Cain, Mr Ryan, staff and parents who supported our teams along the way. We can’t wait to build on this success next year!
