Accompanied Visitors

Prospective Parents

We are very proud of our school and prospective parents are welcome to visit for a tour on the first Thursday of every month at 11am  (during term time) and see the school operating on a normal school day.

Simply call the School Office on 020 8892 3462 or email admissions@st-stephens.richmond.sch.uk 

On arrival, please report to the School Office and follow the Visitors Procedure:

  1. Sign In at Reception

  2. Ensure that you are wearing a Visitors lanyard

All Other Visitors

All visitors must report to the School Office to confirm arrival.

On arrival, please report to the School Office and follow the following procedure:

  1. Sign In at Reception

  2. Provide your DBS certificate and number, if applicable

  3. Read our Safeguarding Policies listed below  (You can find them here on our website, copies are also kept at the school office)

    • St. Stephen's Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy

    • Acceptable Use Policy for Visitors and Contractors

    • Keeping Children Safe in Education

    • Visitor and Volunteer Code of Conduct

    • Guidance for Safer Working Practices

    • Whistleblowing Policy

  4. Ensure that you are wearing a Visitors lanyard

  5. Our office staff will provide essential H&S information on Fire evacuations, Lockdowns and Critical Incidents.

Other Information 

The school office is located at Chertsey Road gate, which is on the A316/Chertsey Road. The entrance is just near the iron footbridge that goes over the dual carriageway, next to the bus stop.

Opportunities for September 2026: Join the St Stephen’s Family!

If you didn't rank St Stephen’s in your top six schools for Reception 2026 because you thought you lived too far away, we encourage you to take another look. Due to a lower birth rate across the borough this year, our catchment area is wider than usual.


This means that families who were once outside our typical boundary may now have a very real chance of securing a place.


We would love the opportunity to welcome more children into our vibrant, supportive school community. If you would like to visit, we would be delighted to arrange a tour and show you around or watch our school video here.
