News & Dates

At St Stephen's we like to keep parents and carers informed about all aspects of school life.  A newsletter is emailed home every Friday during term time. This can also be found in the year group Google classrooms. You can also follow us on Twitter at @StStephensCofE.

In this section you will also find our Summary of Dates for this academic year (2023-2024) and term dates. Please note the Summary of Dates is constantly being updated and changes are made on a regular basis.

We have also added a page called 'School Closure'.  If you are concerned that the school may be closed for the day, please go to 'School Closure' and click on OpenCheck.

Reception 2024 National Offer Day - April 16th 2024

The local authority will send parents an email during the evening of Tuesday April 16th to inform you of the outcome of your childs primary school place.


If you applied via e-admissions, you can also log into the portal to check your status. If you applied online, please use this platform to accept or decline your offered places. If you applied via a Google form, you will will need to click on the link in the email to submit your response to accept or decline your offered places.


The deadline to do this is April 30th 2024.


The school will not be able to give any information on waiting list positions until after May 20th 2024.
