Reindeer hoof prints discovered on the playground

Our Year 1s made an exciting discovery this morning after assembly!

Bee and Beetle classes were led out into the playground where they found what appeared to be reindeer hoof prints on the ground.

You can imagine the excitement as the pupils also came across a chewed carrot, traces of magical glitter and a shiny red ribbon. Whoever could have paid the St Stephens' playground a visit during the night we wonder?

The discovery was all part of a literary exercise designed to fuel the children's imagination and help them complete their Monday morning sentences.

The pupils were required to complete sentences such as: 'On Monday morning I came into school and....' and the exercise helped produce some really imaginative answers.

What a way to start off the week!
