Building Each Other Up in Love and Learning

A sneak peak at our Year 5 and Year 3 art installation...

Years 3 & 5 are busy preparing their Black History Month art installation ready for the big reveal next week...

We can only give you a few details but Year 3s will be a real treat, showcasing a full spectrum of colour to represent diversity in our school. This is just one of the numerous flowers that form part of the art work, and beautifully illustrates how we can transform negative news into something wonderful that will light up our lives.

Year 5 are creating lino prints, replicating the style of William Morris's patterns but using the  iconography and symbolism as used by African contemporary artists working in printmaking: Owusu Aukomah, Laolu Senbanjo and Atta Kwami.

Do keep your eyes peeled for the full story in next week's newsletter...
