Building Each Other Up in Love and Learning

St. Stephen's Quicksticks - Match Report

A glorious day welcomed the six-strong St. Stephen's Quicksticks team at Teddington school.

A ferocious battle lay ahead for the budding hockey stars.

Despite some wise words and a rigorous warm up, St. Stephens succumbed to very narrow losses in their first two games, with a slightly heavier defeat in their third game against Orleans Primary, Sheen Mount and St. Elizabeth's respectively.

Slightly down spirited and frustrated, St. Stephens gallantly fought back in their next encounter, securing a dominant 2-1 victory against Vineyards.

Their final game was against a very tough opponent in the form of The German School, who displayed their efficient hockey qualities. St. Stephen’s took an early lead but were pegged back, with the game finishing 1-1.

A determined St. Stephens performance was shown by all, ensuring the school’s values were on display at all times.

Well done to Lexie, Bea, Charley, Sam, Josh and Toby.
