Online safety workshops - places still available
As you know online safety is a huge priority for us here at St Stephens and we would like to remind you our two x 1 hour Online Safety workshops will take place on Tuesday 6 November at 9.00am and 6.30pm.
A whole host of you have already signed up which is great news but there are plenty of seats for the rest of you.
It is vitally important for every parent in this day and age to understand the issues that are affecting our children which is why we’ve scheduled a session for both the morning and afternoon. We are hoping that by having two options every parent will be able to attend.
The sessions will be run by Peter Cowley, Information and Communications Technology Officer and Online Safety Adviser, Achieving for Children.
The sessions will look at how our children are using the internet, how parents can best support them to avoid problems, and what to do if anything goes wrong. Questions will be taken at the end.
