Reception's Autumn Adventure
This week our Reception children ventured on their first ever school trip - a fun filled, action packed morning in Marble Hill Park - which for little legs is a long way away!
The children were wrapped up warm and ready for a plethora of outdoor learning opportunities. Upon arrival at Marble Hill Park, the children had the opportunity to enjoy an open fire, which was used to create freshly toasted popcorn, thoroughly enjoyed by all.
Mr Greig-Hardy enthusiastically informed the children about the wildlife including badger's sets and fox holes.
The weather stayed dry which meant a broad selection of golden autumn leaves were brought back to class, where they were transformed into crowns, worn proudly by our intrepid explorers, to celebrate their safe and happy adventure.
