Building Each Other Up in Love and Learning

Let's be Fun-raisers with this year's Red Nose Day!

Red Nose Day 2019 is just around the corner and we’ve decided to join in the fun.

To raise money, we’re inviting everyone to come in to school in mufti - it doesn't matter what you wear, but if you want to make it funny, then you'll be right at home! In return for not having to wear your uniform, please can everyone bring in a £1 - or as much as you can. Your £££ will be collected at the gate by some Year 6 volunteers.

The money we raise will be used to change countless lives, both here in the UK and worldwide.

In fact, just £3 could pay for crayons, pencils, paint and paper for children living in a Serbian refugee camp. And £10 could cover the cost of 10 hot meals for a homeless person in the UK.

We’ll also be using Red Nose Day as a learning opportunity to help our pupils explore the issues facing young people across the world, and how the money we raise can help.

In addition, there's nothing that makes us smile more than cake, and FOSS have agreed that the proceeds of 5Ls Cake Sale on Friday can be donated to Comic Relief. So come on 5L - if you get baking, we'll get buying!

We really appreciate the support from all our children and parents.

We hope that you’ll have fun helping us raise lots of money for Red Nose Day.
