Understanding Autism Seminar coming up soon
An ‘Understanding Autism’ seminar is taking place on Wednesday 10th October.
The seminar will provide information and advice for parents and carers of children aged up to 11 who have received a recent diagnosis or are on the road to a diagnosis of autism.
Topics covered will include: developing an understanding of autism; discussing experiences of autism; looking at how autism can affect families; looking at practical ideas for communication strategies and clarifying the support that families may be entitled to and ways to access it.
The seminar will run from 10am until 2.30pm at Grand Avenue Primary and Nursery School and families can book up to two places on the seminar for £10 each which includes a booklet of information.
