Book now for ‘Managing Anger’ seminar
If you think you might need some advice on how to help your child manage their anxiety, Autism Seminars for Families is running a workshop which may just be right for you.
It’s for parents of children up to age 16 and is taking place on Thursday November 22 from 9.30am to 2.30pm at Grand Avenue Primary School in Surbiton.
The seminar will focus on why children with autism often have challenges with distressed behaviour and anger and help identify a specific approach which will help parents guide their child through stressful situations.
Also covered in the seminar will be an examination of the cycle of anger and possible support strategies as well as looking at specific strategies for managing feelings.
Families can book up to two places on a ‘Managing Anger’ seminar for £10 each, which includes a full resource pack of useful information, advice and support guidelines.
This seminar is delivered by a seminar facilitator using materials they have bought from The National Autistic Society.
